Tattoo Art and Republic was founded by the passionate illustrator, Andres Carballo. With years dedicated to mastering various art forms like illustration, painting, and sculpting, he made a transformative decision to apply his expertise to tattooing. Inspired by participation in numerous seminars and tattoo workshops, the concept of Tattoo Art and Republic was born.
It's more than a studio; it's a creative hub where diverse artistic influences converge. My Craft
My background in illustration, painting and sculpture now lives entirely on skin. I specialise in pop culture realism — black and grey, colour, and fine line work for collectors of comics, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, film and gaming.
Every piece is composed and built session by session, the way a painting takes shape on canvas. Light, anatomy, expression, and storytelling are studied before the first line goes in.
